i just realized u ment for how long ive been drawing in general, not the pirates poster... well ive drawing ever since i can remember myself when i was even younger than u... i guess from 1st grade or so... :)

i started two years ago and drew a little at a time... i think if u add the hrs i actually worked on it took around 20 hrs... just a rough estimate :)
